An investigation is underway after the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, missing since last year, was found in an impounded Tesla registered to singer-songwriter D4vd, known for his viral hits “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.”
The vehicle was reportedly abandoned and later impounded by Los Angeles authorities. Reports mention a foul odor coming from the car, which prompted a search and led to the discovery of the body inside. Examinations revealed that both Rivas and Burke had matching “Shhh…” tattoos on their index fingers, suggesting they may have been associated—possibly even romantically. D4vd has not been named a suspect in her murder, but public speculation has grown following his recent cancellation of scheduled U.S. and European tour dates. Sources indicate that he has been cooperating with law enforcement, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
The allegations sparked discussion: Is D4vd involved in her disappearance and murder, or is it all a coincidence?
Some students are certain of his guilt.
“He did it, and I saw it coming,” said Tommy Willett, senior.

One student who attended D4vd’s final concert in Chicago had his own thoughts.
“It felt really weird,” said Justin Bilyar, senior. “During the concert, he was super carefree. He was just jumping up and down. He didn’t talk about any of that stuff—just new albums and new collabs. And then the day after, I found out that he might be a killer. I’m like, that’s crazy. That doesn’t make any sense.”
