Last week, just in time for Valentine’s Day,  Cookies released a limited edition lineup of festive flavors, like Dubai Chocolate Brownie, Valentines M&M, and Valentines Celebration Cake  Cookie. Students are quick to give their reviews, since Crumbl is known for their weekly rotations of their menu and iconic pink box.

This year’s Valentines themed cookies leaned heavy on some classic favors like the Valentines Celebration Cake Cookie, with plenty of heart sprinkles. One of the most popular though was the Dubai Chocolate brownie. With a brownie base, pistachio on top and a hard melted chocolate was what most students were looking forward to trying.

“I was so excited to try the new Dubai Chocolate Brownie just because I had tried the cookie version before and it was so good. My favorite part was the strawberries that were added on top of the brownie. It made it taste so much better,” said Reese Brower, a freshman.

Even though Crumbl does sell cookies, they also like to throw in different cakes as well. The Valentine’s Pink Heart Cake was also a fan favorite. With a spongey pink cake shaped as a heart and light pink frosting to go along with it. Crumbl really wanted to incorporate the strawberry taste and pink theme with all of their desserts.

“Even though the cakes aren’t usually my favorite, the Pink Heart Cake was definitely different in the best way possible. I really liked the frosting and it definitely wasn’t too sweet,” said Rugila Likataviciute, a senior.

For students that weren’t really into the Valentines theme, Crumbl also dropped some of their basics like Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Crumb Cookie featuring Oreo.

“Even though the theme for Valentines was cute, I still really liked getting the Snikerdoodle cookie, it’s one of my favorites and I definitely will be getting it again,” said Sarah Pelinkovic, a junior.

Overall, Crumbl’s Valentines lineup delivered both in flavor and fun. While the cookies are definitely sweet, having a limited time frame to try them makes them worth it. Whether students preferred the classics or even the new and improved Dubai Chocolate Brownie, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
